Miss Lighthouse is a sweeps program, which means that to be eligible, you must be a runner-up to another Miss Michigan local pageant. Only one runner-up per local pageant is eligible and it is offered to the first runner-up then, if it is declined or she goes on to win a different local pageant, the opportunity is offered to the second runner-up, etc. Only a runner-up that has been announced
on stage is eligible. Please contact the Executive Director
of the local program you competed in to see if you are eligible.

For eligible contestants from local pageants in the 2012 Miss Michigan year that are held prior to December 31, 2011:
 
DEADLINE of December 31, 2011:
- Fact Sheet (7 hard copies)
- Talent Music (2 copies of the CD - information on CD in permanent marker)
- Local Contract (1 hard copy, signed & notarized)
- Platform Essay (7 hard copies)
- People's Choice / Judges Book Headshot (1 electronic copy sent via email)

For eligible contestants from programs in the 2012 Miss Michigan year that are held after December 31, 2011. Information will be posted after January 1, 2012.

DEADLINE of the Wednesday following your pageant via email:
- Fact Sheet
- Platform Essay
- People's Choice / Judges Book Headshot (1 electronic copy sent via email)

Due the day of the pageant:
-Talent Music (2 copies of the CD)
- Local contract (1 hard copy, signed & notarized)

You will receive an email telling you when your CMNH money is due after you have submitted your name for the pageant.

If you decide you do not want to compete in Miss Lighthouse Coast please email Shelby so that she knows to ask the next runner up so all can have the opportunity to compete.
